About me

My name is Hassan Elhassan. I am a web designer and front-end web developer based in Arlington, VA, USA.

I have been developing websites for the past 4 years, working on various projects based on ideas, themes, illustrations, existing foundations and from scratch.

I discovered my creativity from Myspace in 2007, when I taught myself HTML and CSS in order to customize my profile page with unique features, and make it stand out from others.

A year later, I started working for "Profiles & Profiles", a small marketing company that pushed my creativity to the limits. I designed menus, business cards, brochures, flyers, and websites for local businesses. Working there for 3 years, taught me "business" and valuable real life factors.

Having acquired a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology (Web Development) and a minor in Business, I expanded my creative thinking process further, and learned significant business values.

Currently, I work as a front-end web developer for a leading interactive agency called Matrix Group International Inc. that provides Web design, development, association management software, and hosting services to associations and non-profits. Matrix Group has won multiple awards and works with over 130 organizations nationally.

Personal:

Creativity doesn't stop here! I am an electronic dance DJ & Producer that go by the name of "Akeed". I started in 2007, and been getting lots of support from friends and fans all around the world. I have weekly radio show "Personal Status" that plays the latest and hottest tracks from Trance and Progressive House. I broadcast the show Live on air through WGMU Radio, and on my music website at www.djakeed.com.
